Northern Territory Police spent the night searching for an overdue fishing group, only to find them enjoying a drink at a Darwin pub. Duty Superintendent John Ginnane says the group told family members they planned to return from Bynoe Harbour yesterday afternoon, but when they failed to show, concerns were raised. "So frantic family members contacted us and we spent a bit of time trying to work out where they were and found them at the pub enjoying the ambience," he said. Police also spent the night searching for a second fishing group which failed to advise family members that they had returned to shore.
