The Millburn Department of Recreation and Parks is scheduled to hold its 30th annual fishing derby on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Taylor Park pond. The event is open to youngsters 15 and under. Registration is free for Millburn Township residents. Registration takes place on the day of the event from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Anglers must provide their own poles and bait. A limited supply of bait garden/meals worms will be available for purchase at the event. Prizes will be awarded for different sizes of fish caught.
