Serbia: Man shot in argument over “fishing spot”

POŽAREVAC -- Police in the eastern town of Požarevac have a suspect under arrest today, who they believe shot a man in the leg. The suspect, identified as 69-year-old Živorad M., on Sunday afternoon headed to the bank of the Danube to fish, to find 55-year-old Radovan M. there. After a brief argument over a fishing spot they both had their eye on, Živorad M. shot his victim in the leg. Radovan M. was transported to the nearby town of Veliko Gradište where he received medical help, while Živorad M. will be handed over to an investigative judge with criminal charges pressed against him.
